What is MakerSpace?

What is  MakerSpace you ask?
It's a physical location/space (presently in the Libraries) where staff and students can gather to share resources and knowledge, to work on projects, network and construct. Makerspaces provide tools and space to CREATE & INVENT your own fabulous  ideas, projects, designs, models... anything creative really! It's an informal, self-directed learning workspace to tinker, try new things and discuss ideas from other staff or students.

How does it work?
It's amazing!!! We will supply items such as lego, mechano, cardboard, paper, pencils, paints, scissors, etc. for you to simply try new things, and just experiment with lots of different equipment and tools ... JUST IMAGINE...WHAT IF...

Do I have input?
Yes... if there is something you would like to see included in our 'MakeSpace' talk to one of the library staff and we can explore the idea.
